The film depicts co-founder and CEO Sam Altman being fired and re-employed in an open-rai and chaotic time, under work.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film’s title is “artificial” and is currently being developed at Amazon MGM Studios.
Details have not been confirmed, but sources told THR that “call me in your name” and Luca Guadanino, known for “Challenger,” is in direct consultations. The studio is considering portraying Yura Borisov (“Anora”) on Andrew Garfield, Altman (“Fully unknown), Monica Barbaro (“Fully unknown) as former CTO Mira Murati, and some of the co-founder Ilya Satzkiber, who sought to remove Altman.
Additionally, “Saturday Night Live” writer Simon Rich reportedly wrote the script, suggesting that the film is likely to incorporate a comedy side. The realm of AI has its own ridiculousness, and the events that took place two years ago were ridiculous, so I feel that Openai comedy films are worthy of it.
In November 2023, Sam Altman was fired from the AI company and resigned from both his position as CEO and his role on the board. The rationale was that the board no longer trusted Altman to lead effectively. However, just five days later, after numerous discussions and negotiations, an agreement was reached, and the revival of Altman occurred.
No matter who is cast in this film, it’s fascinating to see how “artificial” portrays the drama and how the overall reception will look among the average audience, especially considering the prevalence of AI tools like ChatGpt.
