Emily Blunt styles custom Alaïa at ‘Disclosure Day’ Paris premiere

Emily Blunt brought immaculate energy to the Paris premiere of her new film Disclosure Day on Tuesday in a custom Alaia dress.

The Oscar-nominated “Oppenheimer” actress wore a sleeveless white dress with a high halter neckline and fitted bodice that accentuated her waist silhouette. The skirt of the dress was inspired by the label’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection.

The skirt is made with a tiered pleat design. It features a peplum-like element at the waist and a collection of longer, asymmetrical fabrics placed diagonally to the floor. Pleats were the main motif throughout the look’s skirt, contrasting with the fitted bodice.

Blunt complemented her dress with translucent pumps from Alaia. As for accessories, the ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ star added some sparkle by wearing statement earrings and a coordinating ring by Marco Bicego.

Glam for Blunt was provided by makeup artist Jen Streicher, who enhanced the actress’ look with bold brows, lined eyes, and a neutral lip. Hairstylist Raini Reeves pulled Blunt’s hair into a slicked-back bun with a middle part. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Jessica Pastor.

Alaïa’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection is loosely inspired by Blunt’s “Disclosure Day” Paris premiere look, which debuted as part of Paris Fashion Week in March. This curation marked the label’s final design by then creative director Peter Mulier.

“From the clingy, sexy tank dresses that opened the show, some of which ghostly referenced the founder’s crocodile tailcoat, to the form-hugging velvet suits to the gently flared calfskin coats and densely ruffled skirts that brought the show to a climax, the clothes were at once restrained and seductive,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Disclosure Day follows a group of people as they look to confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life. The film will be released in theaters on June 12th.
