Alison Brie wears Mugler on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’

Alison Brie hit the Mugler runway for her look on Late Night with Seth Meyers in New York City on Wednesday.

The “Community” alum wore selections from the French brand’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted as part of Paris Fashion Week in September 2024. Inspired by the shape of a flower, the ensemble included a long-sleeved black jacket with a high collar and plunging neckline with a sinuous line.

The cinched-waisted look included a miniskirt in the same shade of black, reminiscent of the office siren viral trend from 2024. Brie completed her look with sheer black tights and pointy-toed Christian Louboutin pumps, opting to keep her accessories minimal.

As for glamour, Brie turned to hairstylist Tommy Baquet for her long, flowing locks, styled to frame her face with soft waves and fringe. Her makeup included bold eyebrows, lightly lined eyes, and glossy lips by artist Quinn Murphy.

The actress’ look was curated by Erin Walsh, the stylist who worked on Oscar winner Anne Hathaway’s wardrobe for her promotional tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Walsh is also the author of a new book, “The Art of Intentional Dressing,” released in May.

Mugler’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, curated by couturier Casey Cadwalader, is infused with variations on flower power, with “sharp tailored suits and billowing dresses inspired by flowers” dominating the collection, according to Joel Diedrich’s WWD review of the collection.

“But these weren’t your grandmother’s flowers. Cadwalader’s starting point was ostensibly a 1982 collection of brightly colored petal dresses, but he spun it through a dark lens by exploiting the geometric patterns in the floral centers,” Diederich wrote.

“That hidden structure inspired the curving neckline of a graphic jacket fastened with oversized pearls and the sculptural heel of a towering platform shoe. “It’s more feminine, but it’s also hard,” he said, referring to the corset-inspired construction, all power shoulders and jutting hips. ”

Brie co-stars with Camila Mendes and Nicholas Galitzine in Masters of the Universe, which is based on the popular animated series and comic book of the same name. The film tells the story of Adam Glenn, played by Galitzine, who discovers that he is the former prince of Eternia and must return to his home planet to save the day. “Masters of the Universe” opens in theaters on Friday.
