Emily Blunt wears custom Stella McCartney to Disclosure Day in London

Emily Blunt continued her designer style with a custom Stella McCartney look at the Disclosure Day premiere in London on Thursday night.

The Oscar-nominated “Oppenheimer” actress wore a structured peplum dress with French lace woven from organic cotton and forest-friendly lilac viscose. The dress also included hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals that mimicked the lilac color of the dress.

The strapless bodice of Blunt’s dress was subtly inspired by Look 5 from McCartney’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection, a corset piece with exposed bone and translucent fabric with floral lace detailing and a sculptural, architectural design.

The gown’s peplum detail added structure and a contemporary element to Blunt’s dress, while the ensemble’s skirt was also made from a semi-sheer fabric and featured clusters of Swarovski crystals in the same ornate lace pattern, giving the ensemble a clean A-line silhouette.

Shimmering decorations continued to serve as the main motif of Brandt’s appearance. Stella McCartney’s London premiere dress was paired with diamond drop earrings and a Hassanzadeh bracelet. A statement ring also added to her look.

Glamorously, the actress’ hair was slicked back in a middle part and styled by stylist Raini Reeves. Blunt’s makeup continued the lilac motif with vibrant eyeshadow by Jen Streicher. And her nails were cast in a complementary lilac shade to further compliment the dress. Blunt’s look was overseen by stylist Jessica Pastor.

Custom pieces have been trending in Blunt’s recent red carpet appearances. Ahead of Thursday night’s London premiere of Disclosure Day, the actress attended the film’s premiere in Paris on Tuesday with her co-stars, wearing a custom Alaïa dress inspired by the brand’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Disclosure Day follows a group of people as they look to confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life. The film will be released in theaters on June 12th.
