Melania Trump put a high-fashion twist on her style for the crowd at the UFC 250 Freedom Fight held at the White House on Sunday in honor of President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
The first lady of the United States arrived at the sporting event wearing a knee-length body-con black dress by Dolce & Gabbana with a matching leather blazer draped over her shoulders. The blazer featured two wide lapels outlined with whip stitching and overlapping pocket flaps on each side of the body.

For accessories, FLOTUS chose Christian Louboutin’s classic point-toe pumps and a thin chain choker necklace with a diamond cross pendant. The heightened look didn’t exactly scream mixed martial arts series, but it was edgier than her usual taste. But her beauty matched her signature aesthetic, which consisted of honey blonde highlights, filled brows, dark eyes, matte skin, and a pale glow, courtesy of makeup artist Nicole Brill. She has collaborated with the likes of Lino Carbosiero and Mordecai Arvou in the past, but it’s unclear which hairstylist she used for Sunday night’s hairstyle.

Flipping through FLOTUS’ Rolodex of fashion designers, you’ll likely find the following names: Ralph Lauren, Sarah Burton, Adam Lipps, Eric Javits, Domenico Dolce, and Stefano Gabbana. But she’s also a big fan of Christian Dior, most recently wearing a pale delphinium pink strapless haute couture dress by creative director Jonathan Anderson and styled by Hervé Pierre to the state dinner with King Charles III and Queen Camilla in April.

Here, FLOTUS paired her draped gown with off-white Dior suede gloves and pumps that mirrored the tone of her dress. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla seemed to have gotten the pink memo, too, wearing a hot pink Fiona Claire long-sleeved number, clutch bag, and a diamond necklace reportedly given to Queen Victoria by the former Duchess of Kent, with the jeweled accessory reportedly ultimately passed on to Queen Mary.
