The cast and creative team of Elle, the prequel series to the 2001 film Legally Blonde, appeared at the show’s photocall event in New York City on Saturday night ahead of its July 1 premiere on Prime Video. Reese Witherspoon, Lexi Maintree and more channeled their inner Elle Woods in pieces from brands like Prada and vintage Dolce & Gabbana.
Ali Larter and Selma Blair were among the A-listers in attendance at the photocall celebration, titled “Elle World” and featuring stars from the “Elle” series and “Legally Blonde” alums. WWD breaks down celebrity style moments and beyond.

Witherspoon channeled her inner Elle Woods in a bright pink Prada dress. The off-the-shoulder piece from the Italian luxury fashion house’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection is crafted in a two-tone pink style and features a zipper on the placket.
Finishing touches for Witherspoon’s look, styled by Petra Flannery, included Christian Louboutin point-toe pumps. Rona Maria Visi styled the Oscar-winning actress’ hair in loose curls, and her makeup by artist Tracy Levy included lined eyes, bold eyebrows, and soft pink lips.

Blair commissioned American designer Tom Ford to create her look. The actress wore a strappy silk crepe midi dress in contrasting tones of black and bright creamy pink. Blair added Manolo Blahnik heels and accessorized with pearl and diamond drop earrings by Stephanie Gottlieb.

Minetree went full ‘legally blonde’ in a vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress. The actress wore a pink version of the blue dress that Witherspoon first wore in the aforementioned 2001 film. This dress is from the label’s Fall 2000 collection.
Styled by Molly Dixon, Maintree completed her look with Gianvito Rossi heels and a Tiffany heart tag necklace. Mine Tree’s makeup was done by artist Jennifer Powell, and her hair styling was by Florencia Anahi.

Larter incorporated Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection into her look. Styled by Jeanan Williams, Larter wore a strapless midi dress in black with small pink floral appliqués. She added Giuseppe Zanotti heels to complete her outfit.
“Elle” is a prequel series to the 2001 comedy “Legally Blonde,” which depicts the formative high school years of Elle Woods, played by Maintree. The series will be available on Prime Video on July 1st.
