Air fryers are great for anyone, but the Ninja Crispi is made for meal prep people. The portable design allows you to store it neatly and use it on the go. Plus, it actually works. The controls are simple and the glass basket has a storage lid for convenient food storage.
Since we first tested this device, it has become a favorite of the Mashable shopping team. Needless to say, Crispi is getting quite a bit of attention online as people seek out plastic-free airfryer options, and Crispi really is the best option.
You look at some device and think there’s no way it will work and always hope to be proven wrong. The Ninja Crispi is one such device, and since it comes with a glass basket and air frying lid, I was skeptical about its effectiveness. I’m glad to say I was wrong. It has a crispy texture on the outside and a soft texture on the inside.
When testing air fryer crispiness, I always try tofu and frozen french fries. Ninja Crispi handled both beautifully. Tofu cubes mixed with cornstarch are fried to crispy perfection within 20 minutes. The frozen fries were also delicious. I didn’t bother throwing handfuls into the container and arranging them so they didn’t overlap, but the Ninja Crispi made all of the fries perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the inside.
Air fryers are useful home appliances that can quickly make food hot and crispy. Ninja Crispi maximizes its benefits with a design that allows you to prepare meals and store food directly in the glass basket, where it can be reheated. All storage containers are dishwasher safe, a rare feature in air fryer baskets.
Compared to other fryers, the settings on this device can be a bit limited as you can’t adjust the temperature. But as I tried Crispi with a variety of foods, I couldn’t pass up the ability to adjust the temperature.
