Kate Middleton wears Susannah London dress for children’s hospital visit

Duchess Kate wore a Susannah London midi dress for a visit to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital on Monday for a light summer look.

The Princess of Wales chose a white silk flippy wiggle shirt dress by the British designer. The white dress, made from silk crepe, was designed with short sleeves and a V-shaped neckline with sharp, angular lapels.

Black buttons ran along the placket of the dress, and a complementary black belt added definition to the waist. The body is shirt-like, and the skirt is easy to move in, making it perfect for summer.

Middleton also wore Camilla Elphick black pointed-toe slingback pumps to further accentuate the black and white color scheme of her look. When it came to accessories, the Princess of Wales took a minimalist approach with Kiki McDonough 18K yellow gold and diamond hoop earrings and Anushka Jewelry pearl drop charms.

Susannah London is a brand that Middleton has worn several times, including in May 2023 when she styled the designer’s Silk Flippy Wiggle shirtdress in emeralds.

Most recently, the Princess of Wales wore a streamlined Prince of Wales check coat dress to the official installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury in March 2026. The design featured a pronounced lapel and collar, as well as black buttons. She completed her look with a Juliet Millinery houndstooth straw hat and black point-toe pumps.

London-based designer Susannah Crabb founded her atelier in 2006 and curate vintage-inspired designs with contemporary elements, wearability and luxurious details.

In addition to dressing members of the British royal family including Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, the label’s clients include Emma Watson, Helen Mirren and Olivia Colman.
