Jennifer Lopez tries out the Bermuda short trend in Paris

Jennifer Lopez wore a feathery Michael Kors look during Paris Couture Week on Monday.

The “Office Romance” star wore a look from the American brand’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, a white feathered jacket and black Bermuda shorts. Feather jackets had short sleeves, a thin layer of feathers, and were characterized by the volume of the feathers. Lopez’s black Bermuda shorts gave the ensemble a sophisticated, streamlined element.

Lopez added several other labels to her look. She wore Giuseppe Zanotti cocktail mules and carried a Chanel quilted top-handle flap bag and Tom Ford sunglasses.

As for jewelry, Lopez accessorized with diamonds, including Cartier diamond earrings, a David Webb diamond cocktail ring, and a stacked faupe diamond pavé bracelet on one wrist. This look, styled by the duo of Mariel Hoene and Rob Zangardi, achieved a highly glamorous aesthetic.

Lopez looked back to Michael Kors’ Fall 2026 rtw collection for her summer look, and the ensemble was totally on-trend thanks to the Bermuda cut of the look’s black shorts. Denim Bermuda shorts in particular received over 3 million views on TikTok and a 191% increase in social engagement among influencers, according to Abigail Hogberg, Head of Trend and Editorial Strategy at Trendanalytics.

Michael Kors certainly foresaw the attention, with some of its fall/winter 2026 rtw collection hitting the runway during New York Fashion Week in February 2026. The curation was “city-chic and dramatic without being fussy,” wrote Emily Mercer in a review of the collection for WWD.

“Course’s signature tailoring took on a new fluidity, seen through gray pants cut into a skirt with a dramatic train at the back, while a tropical wool blazer was softened on one side with an elongated bias panel and paired with his signature black turtleneck,” Mercer wrote.

“We also had beautiful hand-embroidered fully 3D floral skirts in shades of pink and red, as well as coats and fresh tops embellished with sequins and feathers,” Mercer added of other highlights from the collection.
