Sarah Pidegon embodies Chanel’s butterfly effect at Paris Haute Couture Week

Sarah Pigeon opted for a black, white and red color palette at the presentation of Chanel’s fall 2026 couture collection on Tuesday as part of Paris Couture Week.

The “Love Story: John F. Kennedy & Carolyn Bessette” breakout star wore Chanel creative director Mathieu Blazy’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection for her front row look. The sleeveless dress is made with a round neckline and a bib-like bodice with sinuous lines.

The black, white and red printed skirt features a form-fitting white fabric that stretches to the drop waist with bias-cut drapes and a flouncy midi hem.

Pigeon also paired her dress with black pumps and chose gold tones for her jewelry, including earrings, rings, and a Chanel watch. The actress often works with stylist Emma Jade Morrison, whose clients include Jodie Comer and Kaia Gerber.

Pigeon and Chanel’s relationship has grown since her breakout role on “Love Story.” The actress was appointed as the French luxury fashion brand’s watch and jewelry ambassador in October 2025.

Chanel’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection hit the runway in March 2026 during Paris Fashion Week. “Fashion is both a caterpillar and a butterfly,” Blazey said backstage, referring to an interview Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel gave to French newspaper Le Figaro in the 1950s.

“Be a caterpillar by day and a butterfly by night. There is nothing more comfortable than a caterpillar, and nothing is made for love more than a butterfly. We need dresses that crawl and dresses that fly. Butterflies don’t go to market, and caterpillars don’t go to balls.”
