Intel by intruders uses AI to contextualize NVD descriptions, helping security teams assess risks faster.

Intruders, the leader in attack surface management, have begun AI-generated explanations within Intel, a free vulnerability intelligence platform. This new feature is to enhance the ability of cybersecurity professionals to quickly understand and assess vulnerabilities and address common pain points.

With thousands of vulnerabilities exposed each year, security teams rely on NVD as an important resource to investigate CVEs. However, NVD explanations often lack clarity and context, making it difficult to determine the potential impact at a glance. Intel’s AI Summary transforms NVD descriptions into clear, concise, actionable insights, and helps teams assess and respond to risks faster.

“We’re excited to see the intruders’ CEO and founder Chris Wallis said: “Intel’s AI overview makes it easier for security experts to quickly assess what a vulnerability is and decide which action to take.”

Additionally, intruder internal security experts will manually review AI descriptions for the most important vulnerabilities. These expert-reviewed CVEs are clearly marked in Intel with the “verified by intruders” label.

Fully available Intel already offers powerful features such as a real-time feed of already trending CVE, a unique hype score rated from 100, and in-depth analysis from the intruders’ security team. Adding AI-generated CVE descriptions further enhance Intel’s value as a go-to resource for cybersecurity professionals.

The CVE description generated by AI is available within Intel at Intel.intruder.io. Cybersecurity experts can access Intel for free today.

That mission from day one was to help separate the needle from the Haystack, focusing on what’s important, while ignoring the rest. Effective cybersecurity is about getting the basics right. Intruders do it and help save time on something simple. This will allow users to focus on the rest. It has received multiple accolades and is named GCHQ’s Cyber Accelerator and is proud to have over 3,000 happy customers around the world.
