The Oscar-nominated actress turned her attention to the Italian luxury fashion house’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which was overseen by former chief creative officer Dario Vitale. Adams wore a loose, long-sleeved black dress with ornate silver beadwork on the skirt and top.
The top of Adams’ dress was made with a deep V-shaped neckline, and one side of the look was adorned with diamond-patterned silver sequins. This motif was also featured on the other side of the dress’ flowing midi skirt, which was lined with black fabric and shiny sequin embellishments.

A belt is attached to the waist to create a sharp silhouette. To finish off her look, the actress wore strappy black sandal heels and kept her accessories minimalist. Her auburn hair was styled in long waves that cascaded down her shoulders and down her middle part. Makeup highlights included lined eyes and glossy lips. Adams often works with stylist Petra Flannery.
Adams’ “Tonight Show” look made its runway debut during Milan Fashion Week in September 2025. The spring 2026 ready-to-wear curation marks Vitale’s first collaboration with Versace, with the couturier choosing to focus above all on sensibility and streetwear.

According to Miles Socha’s WWD collection review, Vitale “wanted to make a statement with something very casual…I wanted to start with something that was close to people and relevant,” the designer said.
“If Versace is known for turning heads on the red carpet, no one was strutting down the runway on Friday night at the Ambrosiana Gallery, which boasts an extensive art collection that includes a bust of Medusa,” Socha wrote.

The collection “skewed more East Village disco than the Met Gala, transposing Versace’s reputation for color, boldness, and sex appeal into more everyday garments like T-shirts, sweaters, blousons, vests, and jeans, all with an unabashed retro brio.” Ultimately, Vitale left Versace in December 2025 after one season.
Adams is currently on tour promoting his new miniseries “Cape Fear.” The series, based on the novel “The Executioner” by John D. Macdonald, follows married couple Tom and Anna, played by Patrick Wilson, and Max Cady, a notorious murderer from the past played by Javier Bardem, who comes back to life as Addams and exacts revenge. New episodes of the series will stream on Apple TV on Fridays.
