Apple said today it is holding an iPhone 17 event on Tuesday, September 9th. The company has begun sending invitations for the event. The event will be held at Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino and will start at 10am Pt/1 PM ET.

The company plans to release one and two Pro phones as usual, but the Plus could be replaced with the new Slim iPhone 17 AIR model. The device reportedly has a thickness of 5.5 mm and has a 6.6 inch screen. This will make the new iPhone 17 Air 0.08 inches thinner than the current generation model.

The base iPhone 17, like in the past few years, is reported to have a new, large 6.3-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz rather than 60Hz.

In addition to the iPhone, Apple may update the Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is a notable update in the trio, with a larger screen and faster charging support.

The company may also unveil the AirPods Pro 3 three years after the release of the previous generation Pro Apod. The new buds have a more compact design, a new chip for better noise cancellation and audio processing, and touch-sensitive controls.
