Corporate travel and expense platform Navan closed its first day of trading on the Nasdaq Thursday down 20% from its $25 IPO price, valuing the 10-year-old company at about $4.7 billion. Scientists have discovered two pairs of merging black holes and believe that the larger black hole in each merger is a rare “second generation” veteran of an earlier collision.The unusual behavior of two large black holes observed through ripples in space-time called gravitational waves was described in The Astrophysical Journal Letters on October 28th.There were two obvious clues. Almost 40 years ago, researchers discovered a perfectly preserved collection of fossils inside an impact crater in the Canadian High Arctic. Now, the remains have finally revealed their secret and are revealed to belong to an extinct hornless rhinoceros that lived 23 million years ago.Scientists named the animal Epiatheracerium itjilik, a species name that means “frost” or “frosty” in Inuktitut. Google on Thursday revealed that its built-in fraud protection features in Android protect users around the world from more than 10 billion potentially malicious calls and messages each month. The company also said it has blocked more than 100 million suspicious numbers from using its Rich Communications Service (RCS), an evolution of its SMS protocol, to prevent fraud before it’s sent. Creative suite company Canva on Thursday launched its own design model that understands today’s different layers and formats for enhanced functionality. The company also introduced new product forms, updates to its AI assistant, and the ability to create widgets to capture repeatable insights using Sheet’s coding tools.
