Beam has announced its return to the Annual Finance Forum, which will be held on June 9, 2025 at Leonard Hinckley Island.

This year’s forum brings together senior financial experts and venue and agency leaders to address the real-world financial and operational risks and challenges facing business events, accommodation and conference departments.

The agenda, including AI-driven payment fraud and cyber liability, was developed in response to member feedback identifying concerns about the growing threat of cybercrime.

Julie Sholock, who is on the Beam Advisory Committee for Finance, said: “Along with cyber resilience, the program on the day will also explore key financial topics such as the billback process, evolution of payment terms, and the use of data to support financial planning and transparency.”

Verified speakers include experts from Natwest, Needham Insurance, Computer Network Defense Ltd and Good Business Pays, providing actionable insights and strategies tailored to the sector.

Louis Watson of Beam Chair said: “Agents are very involved in these issues and we encourage all members to participate and work together. By working together, we can more effectively protect the reputation of our finances, clients and brands.”

Each Beam member is invited to attend with at least one senior finance colleague, encouraging more robust discussion and knowledge sharing across the team.

Members can sign up here to secure their own place, address sector-specific financial risks and join Beam to strengthen their partnerships.
