Taylor Swift finally has a fairytale ending.
Less than a year after their surprise engagement, the 36-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist is rumored to be saying “I do” to her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, in a private ceremony inside Madison Square Garden this July 4th weekend.
Like most details surrounding her big day, Swift’s wedding dress remains a secret, leaving fans with burning questions about what her bridal beauty look will look like. Will she stick with her signature red lip or trade it for a subdued nude? Will her bangs fall flat or fall to the side of her forehead? Most importantly, will we see her beloved blonde curls return? Time will tell, but knowing Swift, we might have to wait a while.
Meanwhile, WWD is looking back at the “Love Story” singer’s bride-like beauty over the years.

To celebrate the opening of “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” at the 2010 Met Gala, Swift wore an ivory plisse shoulderless Ralph Lauren dress. She accented her elegant look with her trademark red lip and muddy blonde mermaid waves pinned around her chin in a bob. Meanwhile, her bangs were combed to one side of her forehead above a classic, sparkling smokey eye and winged liner.
Makeup artist Laurie Turk said Swift rarely reveals her lip shade, but has long been known to favor a red lipstick palette, often returning to Nars’ matte terra cotta “Morocco” shade. Her other favorites include MAC’s Ruby Woo, Nars’ Dragon Girl, Pat McGrath Labs’ Elson 4, and Chanel’s Pirate.

At the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, Swift wore a monochrome pantsuit with a statement lip shade, pin-straight hair, and a flat-iron fringe. Her eyes also boasted the usual liquid-black wings with a metallic sheen on the eyelids, and a gothic charcoal hue was polished to the waterline. To compliment the eye-catching color of her lips, the “You Belong With Me” singer painted her nails a ruby red shade.

The 41st Fragrance Foundation Awards, held a year later, brought out Swift’s edgier energy. Here, the vocalist wore a mature translucent white gown with a ballerina bun, blue eyeliner on her lower lash line, coral and bronze eyeshadow on her eyelids, black mascara, and a nude lip.

Two years later, Swift once again pushed the boundaries of her beauty in a white deep V-cut dress paired with a shaggy bob. The long, curly ends that were once revered are now chopped down to the chin, and the bangs are blended above the eyebrows. At the same time, her eyes have lost their winged liner, the ultimate millennial landmark, and have changed color with a melting pot of brown, bronze, and dusty gray shadows visible even at the waterline. Even Swift’s lips weren’t coated in her usual shade. Instead, it had a pale pink shiny lining.
