Aaron Heath is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Cyber ​​Security Advisor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He recently retired from a distinguished career in the federal government that culminated as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). DHS has significantly strengthened its cybersecurity posture for more than 240,000 employees. His extensive career also includes roles as Chief Technical Advisor and Deputy CIO for the U.S. Marine Corps and as a civilian nuclear engineer for the U.S. Navy for nearly a decade.
