Event caterer and restaurateur Searcys has announced the new company’s summer event menu. Each dish is specially made to showcase the best produce of the UK and season.
Supporting Searcys’ second Natural Sustainability Pledge, Menu will feature the front and centres of UK producers, showcasing ingredients from 33 hand-shining food and drink suppliers across the UK, as well as 14 London partners who share Searcys’ ethical sourcing, traceability and environmental responsibility.
Available at all Searcys ’30 Plus corporate meetings and event venues, this new menu celebrates the UK summer with a variety of dishes for summer parties, corporate events and entertainment.
Heritage Tomatoes at Nutborn Nursery in Sussex, small London Smoked Smoked Salmon from London Smoked & Cure, London-based artisan chocolate latier, and Island Chocolate chocolate are just a few of the UK suppliers who have put the spotlight on Searcys’ summer menu.
In addition to sourcing local and seasonal produce, Searcys is prioritizing plant-based and vegetarian cuisine, with the goal of reaching 25% of the event menu by the end of 2025.
New venues this summer will feature Westminster’s historic Surveyor’s Home, the newly renovated 41 Portland Place, and soon the wings of the Open Sainsbury at the National Gallery.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Richard Oxley, Group Executive Chef at Seacys. “We worked with a team of talented chefs and incredible food partners to create an exciting corporate event menu focused on the origins of food, ensuring that each dish tells a story through its ingredients.
“Each supplier is hand-picked to ensure that it fits in our own sustainability strategies. This is evolving, but selecting the right partner is a key step in meeting these critical targets.”
