Camila Mendes styles Donna Karan at Masters of the Universe in New York

Camila Mendes continued her Masters of the Universe style in an archival Donna Karan dress at a screening Monday night in New York City.

The Adidas campaign star wore a brown halterneck dress by the American designer with a plunging neckline that hit Mendes’ hips and was accented with gold hardware. The sensual style featured curvaceous lines and included a thigh-high slit.

The brown dress was made from a soft jersey-like material and featured a flowing train that followed Mendes on the arrival carpet. The actress wore gold sandal pumps to accentuate her jewelry, which included gold embellishments at the waist and statement hoop earrings.

For glam, Mendes’ hair was styled in a side part by Daniel Priano and pulled back in the wet hair trend seen on the likes of Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney. Mendes’ makeup highlights, provided by artist Lisa Aharon, included bold brows, lined eyes, and soft lips. Stylist Molly Dixon, who also works with KiKi Palmer, curated Mendes’ look.

Mendes’ archival Donna Karan dress follows her recent penchant for vintage pieces. Ahead of Masters of the Universe opening in New York on Monday night, Mendes attended the film’s premiere in Berlin with his co-stars, wearing a vintage Roberto Cavalli look.

The leopard print off-the-shoulder look was borrowed from the label’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection. The form-fitting silhouette and short train gave the look a sensual vibe. Before couturier Fausto Paglissi was appointed creative director, Cavalli incorporated animal print, particularly leopard motifs, into his eponymous label’s early collections.

Mendes was joined by his co-stars, including Alison Brie, who wore a David Koma minidress with statement sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline, at the Masters of the Universe screening in New York City on Monday night.

Based on the animated television series of the same name, Masters of the Universe tells the story of a young man from Earth who discovers his secret heritage as an alien prince and must protect it with the help of a powerful sword. The film will be released in theaters on Friday.
