Chariture.ai adds social feeds to its app

Given the fact that recent social media apps are full of AI-generated videos, AI-Native apps seem keen to capture this trend. The latest to jump to that bandwagon is Charition.ai, which said Monday it is adding social feeds to its mobile apps so users can create and chat AI characters.

Social feeds, which first appeared on the company’s web platform in June, allow users to share images, videos and chatbots with other users. Users can also share chat snippets with characters, post AI-generated images based on chats with characters, and have topics of character discussion in live streams.

This feed also allows you to create video clips with text prompts and images using the company’s generated video model Avatarfx, which you can then share in the feed.

“With our new feed, the boundaries between creators and consumers are gone. You can feed from our amazing creators for a lean back experience and see the content, but you can also move the story forward or create a new epic adventure.”

Character.ai is not the first company to dip your toes into the ocean of social media. In July, the video generation app Pika launched an invitation-only app that allows users to create and post videos using AI tools.
