The fierce rivals go far in middleweight matches, as his famous father sees at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

Chris Eubank Jr. dealt with fellow Britton Connor Ben after distanced himself to win a middleweight grim match with a unanimous point decision.

All three judges scored a fight 116-112 after pulsating a 12-round slugfest.

The fight between the son of a former world champion whom he met twice in the 1990s, Arche Rival’s Christ Eubank SR and Nigelben was cancelled in 2022 when Ben tested positive for a trace amount of fertile drug clomiphene.

“I knew I could do that, so I needed someone to get it out of me.

“The fact that our father did it before he brought out his soul into you.

“I didn’t know him [Benn] He had what he had. I thought I’d break him soon. I did not train for such a fight. ”

Both fathers attended 32 years after the final clash and hugged them in the ring before the opening bell.

The fight itself retreated for years from the scraps that their fathers produced by dominating aggression and energy.

“It was close,” Ben said afterwards. “I need to get it back. I thought I won. Maybe I stayed on the ropes for a long time. I enjoyed it and it was a massive homecoming.

“I always knew Chris was a good fighter and he was talking about a good fight.”

Ben was taking a step up his weight to face someone he was a fierce rival outside the ring.

“I believe I can lose weight and win the title,” Benn said in remorse.

The rematch between the pair is on a contract, and promoter Eddie Hearn made it clear that in his opinion it is necessary.

“I couldn’t split them. I thought Ben was winning the fight and lost the last two rounds,” Hearn told Dazen.

“It’s what it is, but I didn’t see Eubank win it in the four rounds.

“Ben became People’s Champion. He stood up to fight the middleweight division and took the kitchen sink. He didn’t stop trying to win the fight.

“It was one of the most dramatic battles I’ve seen.

“Then these two warriors need to respect each other afterwards.”
