Clarion returns to Japan in July to celebrate “purpose-driven” creativity

The Evcom Clarion Awards will return on July 8, 2025 with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The theme of the ceremony acknowledges the outstanding work of “purpose-driven” communication, events and film.

The award sets out to celebrate creativity tackling real-life challenges. Topics range from sustainability and mental health to education and social impact. This year’s finalists include major agency DRPG, Brunswick Creative, Pucca Films and plastic photography.

“EVCOM [Event & Visual Communication Association] “We are pleased to announce that our efforts to ensure that we are committed to providing a wide range of services,” said Andrew Smith, chairman of the EVCOM Board. “The Clarion Awards are a must-see night for all events and Comms leaders. “Whether you work for a corporate Combs team, brand marketing or creative agency, Clarions offers front row seats in the work that shapes the story of today’s ethical brands.”

For the evening itself, the itinerary includes:

Live panel discussion on what clients really want in terms of sustainability

Sustainability Focus

The panel, “Sustainability and Winning Business – What Clients Want” explores how institutions can demonstrate real environmental qualifications as sustainability becomes increasingly non-passing.

Panelists include M&C Saatchi’s Global Sustainability Director, Sam Wilson of Syntiro Associates, Charter Environmentalist of Syntiro Associates, Jenny Manby of Plastic Photography, Phil McMichael, PRG’s Sales Director, Dr. Dominic Tantram and Pamela Noakes.

Hosted by BBC’s Philippa Forrester

BBC presenter Philippa Forrester, known for Tomorrow’s World and Robot Wars, will be holding the event.
