CVENT announced in 2024 that it will outsource volumes via online channels, and for the first time it announced it will surpass pre-pandemic figures.
Cvent Supplier Network raised $16.5 billion (£13.1 billion) in the Mouse Business last year, becoming one of the top Mouse hotels and venue markets. CVENT’s venue directory generated $577 million (£456.5 million) in confirmed booking revenue, surpassing pre-pandemic records by 75%.
The early 2025 mouse trends show strong demand for AI-powered solutions to help hotels manage higher RFP volumes and meet planner expectations.
Positive sentiment is further supported by key insights from the 2025 CVENT Planner Sourcing Report: Europe Edition. This revealed that 60% of planners expect in-person meetings to increase in 2025.
Vice President and Head of CVENTALITY at Bharet Malhotra, the MICE business is extremely important to the hospitality industry, driving both margin revenue and occupancy. I was excited to see the mouse sourcing reach new heights in 2024. Also, strong early procurement trends give you confidence that business spending on face-to-face meetings will continue to bring about significant benefits to hotels and venues across Europe and around the world. ”
Jason Gutteridge, Venue Director of Sales and Operations, commented: The success of our platform highlights the value we bring to European hotels and venues that are trying to connect with event experts and work with them to provide exceptional meetings and events. While we look to 2025, we are excited about the positive trends and are committed to continuing to support our hotels, venues and event planner clients through innovative new products, enhanced advertising opportunities, vast data security and privacy standards, and robust customer support. ”
