Inter Milan will win the Champions League semi-finals with a record 7-6 aggregation score against Barcelona at San Siro.
Instead of Inter Milan, David Frattesi hit the extra time winner to send his side to the Champions League final after Francesco Aservi rescued them from the brink of elimination with an amazing equalizer that increased time, then a victory over Barcelona 4-3, then a victory over Barcelona 4-3.
Frattesi’s goal and a series of spectacular saves by goalkeeper Yann Sommer secured a total of Rip-Roaring and Record-equalling 7-6 in the semi-finals, who finished on the Italian side, reaching the final in Munich. They will face either Paris Saint Germanic or Arsenal, which they will meet on Wednesday later this month.
It was two half stories that dominated the first 45 minutes with the inters and opened a two-goal lead, thanks to a goal from Lautaro Martinez at the counter in the 21st minute before Hakan Karjanoglu extended the penalty just before the break.
However, Barca woke up in the second half with Eric Garcia and Dani Ormo leveling out the scores in the sixth minute, and despite Summer casting a spell to help keep the hosts alive, he figured out the winner through Rafinha, who hit from close range in the 87th minute.
However, as Inter ran desperately towards the equalizer, Denzel Dumfries spotted Aserbi, 37, in the box.
In the 99th minute, Marcus Thurham ran from the right and played the ball into the area for Fratesi.
Summer made two world-class saves from teenager Ramin Yamal to secure an Inter’s hard victory. Inter will bid to win their first Champions League title in 15 years, losing to Manchester City the last two years ago.
“I’m lucky to have finished the game. I cried out everything, so I saw everything black,” Fratesi told Sky Sports.
“I have to thank my physical therapists because these days I’ve given them a victory. That’s incredible, I don’t know what to say. Something incredible happened tonight.”
Barcelona were chasing the high notes after postponing Real Madrid to acquire Copa del Rey, but now they need to focus on Lariga.
“Soccer has been extremely cruel for us,” Barca defender Eric Garcia told Movistar Plus. “We went down 2-0 again and the characters this team showed were amazing.
“We are a team full of young players and this has been an incredible year. [Spanish] The league to play. ”
Previous stand-alone record scores in the semi-finals were Liverpool’s 7-6 total victory over Roma during the 2017-2018 season.
