Washington -The US Ministry of Education has moved quickly this week, eliminating the diversity, fairness, inclusion measures and staff, which was deployed throughout the federal labor on Monday.
The agency stated on Thursday that employees were in charge of DEI’s main initiative on paid management leave. The spokesman did not immediately respond to the demands to clarify how many staff were suspended.
Authorities have also canceled millions of dollars in contracts related to DEI training and services.
The department said on Thursday to delete more than 200 web pages officials. Two internal groups for employees created to promote diversity and inclusion among the staff have been dissolved.
Earlier that day, the agency announced almost 12 new political appointments for the top leader. Many of the newcomers had previously posted at the American First Policy Research Institute. This is a think tank led by Linda McMahon, a candidate for the Secretary of Education. However, other important positions, including the best officials supervised by US universities, are not reclaimed.

The Senate Committee, which covers the education, has not yet shared the timing of confirmation of McMahon. Congress is waiting for completion In the review of her disclosure government ethics, it takes longer than usual. The ethical office spokesman did not explain in detail about Thursday’s delay.
On Monday, Trump has appointed Dennis Carter. Dennis Carter began leading the Ministry of Education’s Federal Student Aid Bureau, and Joe Biden was the president as a substitute secretary.
