A new private dining and event space downstairs in Sucre has opened in Soho under the highly acclaimed Latin American restaurant Sucre.
The underground venue combines the restaurant’s distinctive fiery flavour with the secluded atmosphere, providing an exclusive environment for intimate gatherings.
The space is perfect for daytime launches, business lunches, intimate dinners, and cocktail parties with seating for 40 and 80 standing capacity.
In honor of the infectious energy of Central and South America, Victoria Vogel designed its way downstairs with warm lighting, exposed brickwork, gorgeous velvet seats and jewel-toned interiors, the downstairs exudes a cool, secret charm reminiscent of modern stories.
Using the dining menu directly from the flames of Sucre, a praised second-floor restaurant, guests can enjoy fire-driven Argentinian flavours in atmospheric environments. Choose from Canape options or two shared menus (prices at £90/£100 per person).
Each menu is rooted in Sucre’s bold Latin American cuisine, with key highlights such as a small plate of beef and chili empanadas and a large shared plate of Hereford Bone-in-Rib-eye Steak or Seaweed Beer Blanc turbot. Finished with classic burnt cheesecake with strawberries.
The cocktail menu features a spotlight on tequila and mezcal and features distinctive tipples, including the sweet and sour Ruz de Lima, which includes Patron Reposado Tequila, Ormeca Altos Plata Tequila, Rubar Bliqueur, Pier Purée, vanilla syrup and lime juice. and Inhyante – a smoky blend of Ojo de Dios Joven, Aperol, Italicus, vanilla syrup, lime juice and Better bitters.
