The Oscar-nominated “Sentimental Value” star wore a look from the New York-based brand’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The skirt suit has a streamlined style and subdued elements throughout for a look that capitalizes on modern restraint.
The look was cast in a toned-down color palette that incorporated shades of blue and green. A black collar and black buttons on the placket of the long-sleeved jacket add a vintage feel to the overall look. Midi skirts and jackets feature fluid lines and a modern touch.

Fanning added patent leather square-toe heels and kept her accessories minimalist. The actress’ hair was styled in a mid-part by Jenda Alcorn and let down in soft, natural waves. Fanning’s makeup, by artist Erin Ayanian Monroe, included subtle, clean elements such as lined eyes and soft pink lips. Stylist Samantha McMillen curated Fanning’s look.
Proenza Schouler’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection made its runway debut as part of New York Fashion Week in February 2026. Curated by Rachel Scott, who officially joined the brand in late 2025, the collection marks the couturier’s first stint as creative director.

“Proenza’s DNA incorporates several details from the founder’s earlier work, including grommets with new rigor on the top coat,” wrote Thomas Waller in WWD’s review of the collection.
Other details in the collection include “tailoring ideas that remix the skirt suit and the brand’s popular sailor pants, here with diagonal buttons. The houndstooth check pattern is made with chenille check details, adding even more texture to the touch of the leather-based trench.”

Fanning’s conversation with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation focused on her latest project, the Apple TV version of Luffy Thorpe’s “Margo’s Got Money Trouble.” Fanning co-stars in the series alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman. “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” currently streaming on Apple TV, is about a young single mother who starts an OnlyFans account to support herself and her child.
