Eubank Jr. crushed the egg into Benn’s face at a press conference in February.
As the fighters face off on stage, Eubank Jr. pulled an egg from his pocket and slammed into Ben’s face, causing a brawl as promoter Eddie Hearn and Ben’s father Nigel tried to reach Eubank and his team.
Eubank Jr., who was fined $129,000 by the UK Boxing Commission, had already mentioned two drug tests that Benn failed in 2022, leading to a two-year battle with anti-doping authorities.
“Apparently, egg contamination was the reason for his two failed drug tests. So I contaminated him with the egg,” Eubank JR posted on X.
He defended the action two days later at a media event on the second day, saying, “Did I cross the line? I think a lot of lines crossed throughout this process.”
Ben replies with an X, “It’s the only shot you land on me… two rounds you’ve finished.”
Eubank Sr named his son “disgrace” for his pre-combat attitude.

“This fight is about skill and dedication, not size or weight, it’s about expertise and all the areas I’ve excelled. I’ve had years of experience over Connarben, and that’s what will be the deciding factor for the night,” he said Tuesday.
“I’m a perfect fighter. I’ve been doing this for a long time. I’ve forgotten more than he knows.
“The procedure is Congress, everything goes as I want it to, I’ll be like the matador of the ring, and Connor Ben will be the bull.”

What did Ben say about the fight?
Ben treats the battle as another opportunity to continue his unbeaten run.
“It’s always personal. People say it’s business. This isn’t business, it’s never the case,” he said at a media event leading up to the fight.
“If you’re trying to put your hands on me and make me unconscious, it’s not business, this is personal.”
Why does Eubank SR want to cancel the fight?
The former champion has distanced himself from a fight backed by Ben’s legacy of rivalry with seniors.
Eubank believes this fight will put his son’s life at risk. Especially because he has to move to the weight department.
“My son is probably roaming at 180 pounds [81.6kg]and he must boil himself down to 160lb [71.5kg]He said last week in an interview with the British tabloid The Sun.
“People don’t understand what it means for juniors to go down to 160 pounds at his age. They don’t understand dryness.
“I know what it feels like. I know about dehydration and the damage it does to fighters.”
The 58-year-old said his son agreed to the fight was “absolutely crazy.”
