Evolution Dome, a UK-based provider of temporary inflatable structures, has deployed 137 private meeting pods for a healthcare meeting of 1,500 people over three days at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
In collaboration with Total Destination Solutions (TDS), Evolution Dome has transformed the hotel’s exhibition hall into a fully functional meeting hub and has installed 137 5MX6M office pods for major pharmaceutical brands. Setup took just 12 hours and the Evolution Dome team completed the installation in just 10 hours.
The inflatable “office pods” are strategically located within the venue’s vast exhibition halls, with 1,500 participants in 137 breakout rooms, each hosting 8-15 representatives. Designed for discretion and acoustic performance, the Pods’ sound buffing properties allow for confidential and confusion-free meetings that are essential for the success of the event.
The Evolution Dome’s inflatable construction was chosen for its quick setup, low logistics needs, and ability to suppress sound. Each pod was gently inflated using an adjustable fan, and the open-top design helped maintain room temperature. Fast setup and removal reduced venue employment times and overall costs.
