Experiential Marketing and Events Agency Experience12 will partner with MCM Comic Con upon the return of Popcultr Marketing Summit.
A one-day forum dedicated to the future of pop culture marketing multiverse, the Marketing Summit brings marketing experts across the entertainment, gaming, consumer products and brand strategy sectors, and for the second year it will return to MCM London Comic-Con at London Excel.
It will help marketers connect, explore new trends and understand what’s next for storytelling, fan engagement and IP growth in rapidly evolving markets.
The summit will have daily content (10:00-16:30) including two keynote speeches and six peer-to-peer panel sessions.
The panels are as follows:
Large and small screen content: Marketing script strategy rewrite: Beyond drop: Rethinking launch strategies for new ERA brand partnerships: Power-ups in pop culture marketing games: Live engagement and event adaptation of marketing playbooks: Detoxification of fragmented digital consumer products
The opening keynote comes from Zoe Scarman, founder of industry leader Strategy Studio Bodailas and Chief Strategy Officer of 77X.
Scaman’s talk, entitled “Fan Industry Complex: How Fandom Became Infrastructure, and Why IPs Are Never the Same,” explores cultural and commercial power shifts that change the way stories are built, sustained and shared.
“This summit was created to address gaps that we noticed in the industry,” said Chris Whittle, founder of Experience 12.
He added: “There are many opportunities to connect within the sector, but there are few opportunities to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue among pop culture marketers, and the event is about sharing real insights, discussing rapidly evolving markets, and building a more connected community with people at Callface.
The summit is free to attend, and participants will also receive an industry pass for MCM London Comic Con at Excel London.
