Quantum.Tech Expo introduces real-world implementations of NASA, MasterCard, Novo Nordisk Foundation, ESA, and the cities of Rotterdam.

Quantum.tech Europe 2025 arrives at the World Trade Centre in Rotterdam from September 29th to October 1st, bringing a new approach with new features designed to deliver something to the entire quantum ecosystem, from enterprises, academics and solution providers to rising startups and talent.

Quantum.tech Europe includes Quantum.tech Europe from new locations in the quantum-rich Dutch region.

Eight stages of real-world presentations. Includes a new stage in the Quantum Boardroom, C-Suite talk discussing early exploiting the positive future impact of one-to-one networking conferences of quantum technology designed to promote trading speakers from internationally known companies, including Boeing, Mastercard, UNICC, and the European Space Agency. A day before the meeting dedicated to crypto and AI workshops, two more days of deep diving will dive deeper into how companies can learn or enhance new quantum skills using the Skill Accelerator Masterclass to prepare for the threat of Q-Day practical learning

“If you’re sitting at the Quantum Conference and thinking, ‘I’m listening to the same speaker talking about the same quantum topic,’ then this improved exposition is for you,” said Laurence Coldicott, Director of the Quantum.Tech program.

“Quantum.tech Europe not only induces meaningful conversations from both familiar and new voices, but also promotes an environment where we can explore commercial adoption of businesses and quantum solutions as a whole.”

What to expect from your everyday life at Quantum.tech Europe

On the day before the event on September 29th, there will be a one-day crypto and AI integration workshop with topics such as QKD 101, AI, quantum collaboration, and quantum optimization.

“Quantum computing on the horizon is making traditional encryption protection obsolete. Replacing traditional encryption with later algorithms is not an option,” said Ricardo Lafosse, Chief Information Security Officer at Kraft Heinz Company.

The two-day meeting officially began on September 30, with comments from Robert Sinmon, the city of Rotterdam’s vice-mayor, and was followed by an industry disruptor panel called “Managing Hype: Where Does Quantum Really Stand?” He was hosted by Wired’s senior innovation editor Jeremy White, and was hosted by renowned Amazon panelists Helmut Katzgraber, Jeremy O’Brien of Psiquantum and Alessando Curioni of IBM.

The second day, October 1st, begins with a keynote speech by co-founder/CEO of Risk Immunology, “Quantum Security: Protecting Today’s Tomorrow’s Data.”

The highlight of the second day is Quantum for Good, a panel that explores many ways Quantum can be used for social benefits, focusing on global challenges in healthcare, sustainability and security.

Speakers include NASA chief technist Carolyn Mercer. Shohini Ghose, CTO, Quantum Algorithms Institute; Managing Director, C4IR, Saudi Arabia; Basma Albuhairan; SAMEIR CHAUHAN, Director (CEO), United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC).

A unique aspect of Quantum.tech Europe is the hosted buyer club, where pre-qualified executives and senior procurement personnel can access meetings and get the opportunity for a one-on-one meeting total of one-on-one meetings with quantum companies.

“We have created this new feature as a premium networking platform that will promote meaningful relationships between senior decision makers and solution providers across the quantum ecosystem,” Coldicott explained.
