ATLANTA (AP) — The Georgia Tech starter speaker left alumni more than touching words on Friday.

“This isn’t just about covering the fees, it’s about illuminating the sparks,” alumni and speaker Christopher Klaus said in a press release. “Every founder needs someone to believe early. Through this gift, we offer that belief and give our graduates the opportunity to start building with purpose and confidence.”

It costs about $100 to submit for establishment in Georgia.

After years of trying to nurture the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Georgia Tech has partnered with real estate developers to build multiple stages of Tech Square, an office, lab and residential development that surrounds parts of Atlanta’s booming offices. Similar developments helped develop on the other side of campus, and helped to connect with technology with universities and companies affiliated with universities for research and employment technology alumni.

The school has collected record-breaking applications this year.

Klaus is currently leading Fusen, a startup founded in 2022, helping students build startups by connecting mentors and funds. He also co-founded the school’s entrepreneurship program Create-X in 2014. He received an honorary doctorate. During the ceremony.

“We invited Chris Kraus to speak at the start as we embody the innovation and entrepreneurship that has defined Georgia Tech for 140 years,” President Angel Cabrera said in a statement. “Through his groundbreaking work, his message and his generous gift for graduates this semester, Chris continues to inspire a new generation to lead with imagination and creativity.”

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens recently announced I’ll run it for reelectionsought to make Atlanta one of the top five high-tech hubs in the country. A report released last year said that by 2027, 2,000 high-tech startups will need to be launched every year in the city.
