On Friday, Google announced it would be offering Google Finance, a tool that provides financial information and business news, as well as AI updates. Users will be able to explore financial questions with AI, access advanced charting tools, and get real-time data and news.
The update allows users to ask detailed questions about finance and get a comprehensive AI response with links to related sites. Instead of looking into the details of individual inventory, users can ask complicated questions at once.
Regarding the new charting tool, Google says, “It will help you visualize your financial data beyond simple asset performance. You can view technical metrics such as moving average envelopes, or adjust the display to see Candlestick charts and more.”

Google Finance also acquires additional market data, including products and additional cryptocurrencies. Plus, there’s a new live news feed where you can see real-time headlines.
With this update, Google is considering taking on platforms like Yahoo Finance and Alpha. The company is also likely to want people to quit their services and go to AI chatbots like ChatGpt to answer complex questions by supercharging Google Finance with AI answers and charts.
The tech giant says that new AI-powered Google Finance will be rolling out in the US over the next few weeks. Users have the option to switch between new and old designs.
