Greengage Solutions has relaunched the EcoSmart portal with new features, including SmartScan AI, the first AI-powered tool for travel, hospitality and event organizations to achieve sustainability authentication faster and easier.
The first step in the EcoSmart certification process is an online survey to establish an organization’s current position on sustainability so that it can create implementation action plans.
Organizations can now upload existing policies, reports, and other resources to the EcoSmart portal, where SmartScan analyzes them and extracts relevant data to answer survey questions.
In tests, SmartScan completed up to 60% of its survey in just a small portion of its normal time. This means that organizations can begin implementing and see results more quickly.
SmartScan runs four important functions:
Analyze data from multiple sources to identify sustainability opportunities. Review sustainability statements against established standards, ensure compliance with green billing regulations, and prepare your business for the requirements of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Provide tailored, practical sustainability recommendations based on venue-specific data. Monitor progress towards implementation and sustainability goals.
An additional benefit of SmartScan is that it allows organizations to access sustainability certification without the budget to hire sustainability experts.
