Beam, an association of business events, accommodation and conference departments, has announced that Rugby World Cup winner and respected commentator Will Greenwood MBE will be participating in the speaker lineup at the 2025 Annual Forum, which will be held from July 3rd to 4th at Novotel London West.
Known for his inspiring insights into leadership, teamwork and high performance under pressure, Greenwood speaks on the first day of the forum in a Fireside Chat hosted by Nick Gold, managing director of Speaker Corner, one of Beam’s headline sponsors.
Greenwood’s sessions provide an energetic and reflective perspective on the implications of overcoming adversity, building trust under pressure, and creating a culture of victory. It’s a lesson that translates straight to the world of business and hospitality, far beyond the rugby pitch.
Louisa Watson of Beam Chair said: “Greenwood brings a room-changing perspective and presence. His story speaks directly to the themes of integrity, courage and human connection this year.
The addition of Greenwood will increase the already strong lineup. This includes the opening address of Jack Rankin MP, an APPG officer for the event highlighting the economic and social impact of the sector.
Marianna Saraceni, the opening keynote speaker at the forum, offers an inspiring session on “Find Your Happiness – Why Human Connection Is Important.” TEDX speaker coach and leadership strategist Helen Packham shares how storytelling and vulnerability build trust and transform personal influence, providing economist John Roland with a clear and practical perspective on the changing economic situation.
One of the breakout sessions is guided by a well-known international speaker and author, Nigel Listener. In Nigel Listeners’ session “How to communicate like an effective zookeeper,” listeners share real-world stories for participants to guide courage and credibility.
The program also includes a panel of experts, with closed sessions designed to make participants more connected, more human and more inspirational.
The forum concludes with a relaxing two-day hangover hangout brunch on Friday morning. Following the lively “Havana Night” Cuban street food, dance and entertainment on July 3, it is designed to bring everyone back from the night before on amazing coffee, comfort food and shared stories.
