Greta Lee wears Dior couture at the Toy Story 5 premiere

Greta Lee spotlighted her connection to Dior by wearing a summery couture dress to the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The ‘Past Lives’ breakout star wore a look from the French luxury fashion house’s Spring 2026 Couture collection. Part of a curation by couturier Jonathan Anderson, the dress incorporates some of the collection’s blossoming aesthetic cues.

The one-shoulder dress was designed with a billowing one-shoulder top that featured a gorgeous red and white mottled motif throughout. A cinched waist further defined the dress’s silhouette, and the skirt included a slightly asymmetrical hemline and a band of red and white fabric that flowed down to the arrival carpet.

Ms. Lee paired her dress with metallic Gianvito Rossi strappy heels and accessorized with jewelry from brand ambassador Tiffany & Co. The actress’ hair was styled by Jenny Cho in a slicked back style with micro bangs that framed her face. Nina Park gave Lee makeup with bold eyebrows and glossy lips. Stylist Daniel Goldberg supervised Lee’s look.

The actress’ choice of Dior has put a spotlight on her relationship with the French luxury fashion house. Lee is a Dior ambassador and was appointed to the role in September 2025. “Greta has a natural instinct for dressing. She is talented, exciting, empathetic and everything I envision a Dior woman to be. She is so much fun to work with,” Anderson said in a statement shared exclusively with WWD upon the actress’ appointment.

Since 2025, Lee has worn several Dior designs at high-profile events, the most recent being the Los Angeles premiere of Toy Story 5. Her haute couture dress made its runway debut as part of Paris Haute Couture Week in January 2026.

Joel Diederich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection that Anderson “opened the show with a trio of bulbous pleated dresses that referenced both his first ready-to-wear look and Odund Magdalene’s voluptuous urn.”

“The translucent, swirling top was as accurate as a seashell, and the feathery scales mimicked the extreme macro close-up of a butterfly’s wings. A knitted mini-cape that engulfed the body with soft folds put a fresh spin on Dior’s ‘Flower Woman.’ So were bell-shaped dresses that looked like enlarged versions of the founder’s fetish flower, the lily of the valley,” Diederich writes of the collection’s highlights.

Toy Story 5 stars Woody and Buzz, voiced by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, as two toys and their friends grapple with the rise of electronics in children’s play. The Disney Pixar animated film will be released in theaters on June 19th.
