A new report from Yourvenue revealed the shift, prioritizing happiness over sustainability as a top priority for organizers.
According to the report, representatives are increasingly drawn to venues offering outdoor spaces, fresh air and immersive activities to enhance overall well-being.
Angela Colley -Francis, National Account Manager at ARC, said sustainability remains important, but event organizers prioritize experiences focused on mindfulness, outdoor activities and meaningful engagement.
Colley -Francis added: “What’s as simple as incorporating a walk outside can have a huge impact. It’s not just about carving a regular box, but also about making the event more personal.”
In response to this shift to support the happiness of the delegation, your venue will launch a “Step to Summer Day Delegation Package” in April to help event planners integrate happiness and outdoor activities into the meeting.
The initiative promotes the well-being of representatives through outdoor experiences, with each racetrack offering a marked walking route highlighting key landmarks, historic tracks and grandstand buildings.
Yourvenue’s report also revealed a significant increase in experience-driven events and “Bleisure.” Business meetings incorporate leisure elements to create a more engaging representation experience.
“The focus is on delivering events that have lasting positive impact through outdoor activities, unique venue settings and tailored wellbeing packages,” commented Julie Coates Walker, head of sales group at ARC.
