Israel is expanding its occupied West Bank illegal settlements while its war on Gaza.
Israel says it plans to build 22 new illegal settlements on the occupied West Bank.
Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says the settlement is intended to prevent the creation of a Palestinian state.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue their attacks, destroying houses, roads and facilities such as waterways and hospitals, leaving essentially occupied areas on the West Bank unmanned.
And according to the United Nations, the UN has seen the highest violence by settlers against civilians, including crop destruction and uprooted trees.
Europe opposed the move to build more illegal settlements by threatening sanctions. But can they have a real impact?
What does this mean to millions of Palestinians? And is the Palestinian state now almost impossible?
