Hotel Indigo, a modern 107 bedroom hotel with a connecting bar and restaurant, is set to open in Leeds this summer, following a multimillion pound investment.
The 4,173m2 hotel brings over 60 jobs into the city, has over 100 hotel bedrooms and two meeting rooms, serving as the perfect space for meetings and lunch.
This is the 20th Hotel Indigo Set to date to be opened by the UK IHG Hotels & Resorts, and presents sustainability in line with the group’s commitment to responsible travel through the Journey Two Molling Initiative.
Journey To Tomorrow aims to be IHG Hotels & Resorts’ 10-year sustainability plan. It aims to bring lasting and positive change to the hospitality industry, focusing on improving social equity and tackling climate change with clear goals.
Additionally, the hotel also features Banksia, a modern new restaurant, located on the first floor of the hotel.
Bringing a Mediterranean all-day meal to Leeds, Banksia celebrates a cultural mix and reflects the diversity of Modern Leeds with its flavourful menu featuring fresh, local ingredients.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Simon Grace, general manager of Hotel Indigo Leeds. “By bringing in the sun-stained Mediterranean flavours, Banksia Bar and Restaurant makes it the perfect hub for after work drinks, evening wine, meals and dancing.
Kevar Schalau, director of Bellfont Hotels, the hotel owner, added: “Leeds is a very thriving city and we can’t wait to be part of it. Indigo in all hotels is different and this applies to our Leeds site.
