Viral streamer and Mashable 101 selection Kai Cenat returns to the Creatorverse with another round of Streamer University, a launching pad for streamers who want to follow in his footsteps.

Cenat announced Streamer University 2026 in a two-and-a-half-minute long trailer posted on his social media accounts and addressed his long hiatus from streaming.

It shows Senat striding across rolling green hills, approaching what later turns out to be an abandoned stone mansion: the Streamer University itself, modeled after America’s Hogwarts. Senat, dressed in burgundy and yellow, learns that the place has been taken over by owls, the animals tasked with delivering the application, and is now gathering dust. But don’t worry, the Senat is here now and is sending them out himself. That’s where all of us come in.

What is Streamer University?

Streamer University is Cenat’s free multi-day networking, training, and social event designed to connect up-and-coming streamers with established viral content creators. Senat led the first Streamer University event held at the University of Akron in Ohio last May.

How do I apply to Streamer University?

Those interested can apply online now. The University accepts applications for three different positions: student, professor, and club director. Students receive a crash course in becoming digital creators taught by professors with specific “expertise”. The club director promotes event activities.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to travel throughout the United States. As part of the application process, you’ll also need to provide at least one social media account for review and submit a short video showcasing “your personality, content style, and why you want to join.” The FAQ says: “Be real!”

What will I get if I get accepted to Streamer University?

If accepted, participants will be able to attend the multi-day event for free, including classes, activities and networking opportunities, according to the website. May also be filmed for content on participant channels.
