This growth was driven by a surge in 2,425 additional events offered by 92 certified members of IAPCO in 180 global offices.
This report (released April 3, 2025 in Global Meetings Industry Day) highlights how face-to-face meetings across key sectors such as health, energy, technology and finance are driving recovery and innovation.
1,969 events have already been signed over the next few years, even before the destination or venue is selected.

Martin Boyle, CEO of IAPCO, said: “Member events not only provide enormous economic value, but also enable global collaboration in science, engineering, academia and more.
The report also points to an increase in IAPCO membership, driven by the growing demand for independently certified professional organizers.
