Apple is holding a new hardware event at 10am on September 9th. The company plans to release the iPhone 17 lineup along with updates to its Apple Watch and AirPods.
As always, many rumors have been circulating, including the introduction of a larger screen and improved camera for the iPhone 17 model, as well as the ultra-thin iPhone Air that can replace the Plus model. More widely, Bloomberg’s Mark Garman reports that this will be the first of the three-year major iPhone redesign in 2026, with the arrival of a foldable iPhone.
iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 is expected to get a significant makeover to fit more closely with the Pro model. It features a slightly larger 6.3-inch screen. This is the 120Hz display, an increase of 0.2 inches compared to the iPhone 16 and a substantial upgrade from the current 60Hz. It is also rumored that there will be a 24 megapixel front camera.
New colors of purple and green may come.
Rumors suggest that professional upgrades will become prominent on the back of the phone. Conceptual rendering shows that three rear cameras can be placed on a rectangular bar that extends from one end of the device to the other. The flash, light sensor and microphone are located far away on the right. If you have a Magsafe charger, it is said that the Apple logo is centered for aesthetic reasons.
In particular, the iPhone 17 Pro may switch materials and replace the titanium band around the screen with aluminum. This helps Apple reduce costs and provide a lighter atmosphere.
It is also expected that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will also be upgraded less. The most important change is the slightly thicker body, which can accommodate large batteries. This is a big victory.

The iPhone 17 is expected to be priced at around $800, and the Pro Max is expected to have a price tag of around $1,250. New colors on the Pro model may include dark blue and copper.
The price for the Pro model is around $1,100. However, recent leaks show that there are fewer storage options compared to the 16 Pro. Users may lose the 128GB option, with only three options: 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
The main focus is on the iPhone itself, but Apple may announce new phone cases as bonuses. Three weeks before the event, Leak showed a case for the “TechWoven” iPhone Pro 17. It features high-quality woven materials from Apple’s deprecated “Fine Wuven” line, released in 2023.
iPhone Air

The most widely discussed rumor is that Apple may be introducing the iPhone Air, the slimmest phone ever.
The rumored device is said to have a profile thickness of 5.5 mm, which is about 0.08 inches thinner than the current iPhone. It also has a 6.6-inch screen.
The move follows in the footsteps of other companies like Samsung and Huawei, and appears to be Apple’s response to the trends in slimmer smartphones. iPhone air could potentially cover the 5.8mm thick Samsung Galaxy S25 edge. Additionally, it could pave the way for Apple’s long-term folding phones, which are projected to be released in September 2026.
The thin design is stylish, but there are some compromises. Based on the renderings we’ve seen, we expect the air to have only one rear camera lens, unlike two pluses. There are also rumours that there may not be enough space for the speakers at the bottom. This means that the only audio source may be the front earpiece at the top.
The battery life of the device is uncertain, but some people think it’s worse than the battery life of previous models due to its thin design. The report suggests that optional battery cases can be sold separately to compensate.
The report suggests that the device will be priced at $950 and will be available in black, silver and light gold. However, new predictions from JPMorgan suggest that the iPhone air would cost around $899 to make up for the absence of the second camera.
Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3

After two years of waiting, there are various rumors surrounding the Apple Watch Ultra 3, suggesting that it will cause a major change. These may include high charging speeds, 5G support, and satellite connections. Furthermore, it is speculated that the watch will have a larger display.
One of the most exciting potential upgrades for both Ultra 3 and Series 11 is the built-in blood pressure monitoring feature. This feature will notify users if their blood pressure levels are too high or too low. Apple is also considering adding sleep apnea. However, according to Bloomberg’s Markgerman, the company may need to delay the release of these features to make further adjustments.
Apple recently announced that its redesigned blood oxygen capabilities are being deployed in Series 8, 10 and Ultra Watches. This will lead to the view that Ultra 3 will also gain functionality, but the company did not mention in its announcement whether it will be available on the Watchos 26.
The third generation of Apple Watch SE is not expected to receive major updates, except for the larger display. According to Gurman, there are continuing reports that plastic versions have been introduced.
The rumored price for the watch is $250 for the Apple Watch SE 3, $400 for the Series 11, and $800 for the Ultra 3.
AirPods Pro 3

After the AirPods Pro 2 was released in 2022, it’s time for an upgrade and Apple may be ready for streaming. Rumors suggest that the Airpods Pro 3 will feature a more refined design, touch-sensitive control, smaller earbuds, and a slimmer case. Another rumor claims that the pairing button will be removed, and instead touches on the case itself.
Additionally, the H3 chip is expected to enhance active noise cancellation and adaptive audio.
