In a statement to the US toDay Sports in October, Jessica Rosenberg, a lawyer of VINCE MCMAHON, stated that the claim would be false.
“The negligence claim to McMahon, which was asserted today, is a completely absurd at the same absurdity, and depends on a statement that is completely valuable,” she said. “We are convinced that we defend McMahon violently, and the court judges that these claims are not true but unfounded.”
Cequent on the phone on Monday, a lawyer representing Linda McMahon refused to comment on the case. Laura Brebetti, another one of Linda McMahon’s lawyer, told CNN in November:
“MS. McMahon will defend this unfounded lawsuit violently and will definitely succeed,” said Brebetti. She added that Linda and Vince McMahon were separated.
