Kaia Gerber styled Alaïa’s latest resort collection at the JR X Evan Spiegel party in Paris on Friday.
The model and Re/Done campaign star wore looks from the brand’s 2026 Resort curation, dubbed the Winter/Spring “Archetype” collection, which debuted in November 2025. The strapless dress was a combination of dark tones of black and chocolate brown.

The midi-look bodice is made from a leather-like fabric and features a corset-style cutout on the placket. Once cinched in at the waist, the dress’ edgy top gave way to a flowing skirt with a thigh-high slit.
Cast in brown tones, the skirt contrasted with the bodice in both color and material with its jersey-like fabric and asymmetrical hemline, creating a high-low effect on the overall look. Gerber paired the dress with strappy black sandal heels.

When it comes to accessories, Gerber was mostly minimalist, letting her strapless Alaia dress be the centerpiece of her look. It included glamorous elements like Gerber’s mid-parted, tousled hair and soft waves. Her makeup included bold brows, lined eyes, and a glossy neutral lip.
Gerber is the most recent celebrity to wear pieces from Alaïa’s Resort 2026 collection. At the premiere of Pressure on May 26, Oscar-nominated actress Kelly Condon wore a sculpted off-the-shoulder dress in rich dark velvet, also from the collection.

Alaïa’s Resort 2026 collection, designed by couturier Peter Mullier, featured many structured pieces with accessories throughout. The collection will be Murier’s last as creative director at Alaïa, and the brand confirmed in January that he was parting ways with the fashion label.
The brand said in a statement that “the studio will ensure continuity for an interim period until a creative organization is confirmed” and that Murier “wish him every success in his future endeavors and he will always remain part of the Alaia family.”
Mulier currently serves as Versace’s creative director.
