Mediaworks has appointed Kevin Telford to the Executive Committee as a non-executive director.

Telford joins our agency at pivotal moments to bring global experiences in artificial intelligence, data strategy and digital transformation, leveraging data and AI to drive greater performance for ourselves and our clients.

Telford has played senior roles in Transunion (CallCredit), ThoughtWorks and ACXIOM, and has partnered with many global brands.

His work includes a governance framework that advises FTSE 100 companies on key AI strategies, government-wide data conversion, develops future skills, and supports AI realization. A published co-author and keynote speaker, he was named to the DataIQ Top 100 for responsible data leadership.

In his role at Mediaworks, Telford will focus on how agents can lead in strategic adoption and practical application of AI, allowing clients to benefit from smarter, faster and more effective marketing performance.

By leveraging AI technology, data, media-wide technology, search, content and data intelligence, agents aim to deliver improved results and pass on commercial savings and deeper marketing impacts to their clients.

Mediaworks CEO Brett Jacobson said: “Kevin’s appointment shows a great step forward in AI-led strategies. His deep understanding of how AI can translate business performance helps to preempt client needs and guide partners on how to embed and maximize AI through their own operations.”

Telford added: “Mediaworks has received high praise for innovation and is excited to join our team as we reshape the way AI approaches business marketing and digitally. My focus is not only on helping to adopt AI in a strategically sound way, but also to have a commercial impact.”

This appointment comes during a period of sustained growth in the Media Walk, including multiple new public and private sector victories and ongoing investment in talent across the UK hub.
