With 31 league goals and 62 points, Mbappe is the top European football goalscorer this season.
Real Madrid’s Killian Mbappe ended its first season in Spain by collecting the European Golden Shoes Awards.
Mbappe, who won the Pichichi Trophy for being La Liga’s top goal scorer, scored twice in the final league game of Real on Saturday, surpassing Sports Lisbon’s Viktor Gyoker at the top of Laizin.
The 26-year-old Mbappe finished with 31 league goals and became the third Real Madrid player to win an award after Hugo Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The last Frenchman to gather golden shoes was Thierry Henry, who won Arsenal in 2004 and 2005.
Mbappe may have been caught on Sunday while he was in Monaco after seeing the F1 Grand Prix.
Muhammad Sarah, who needed a hat-trick in the final league game of British champion Liverpool, scored once to score third with 29 goals.
Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski is already convinced he will finish ahead of Real Madrid in the race in the Spanish League title, scoring twice in Bilbao on Sunday. He finished fourth in Europe and second in Pichichi to score a total of 27 goals.
Paul won the Golden Shoes twice alongside Bayern Munich, winning Pichichi in 2023.
Last year’s Golden Shoes winner, Harry Kane finished fifth with 26 Bundesliga goals taking part in the League Champions medal at Bayern. Atalanta’s 25 Mateo Retsciu was the top Serie A player in sixth place.

Gyoker outperformed Mbappe with 39 goals, but the table is weighted. The targets for the Big Five European tournament (Larliga, Premier League, Bundesliga, League 1, Serie A) will be doubled. For the next 16 ranked leagues, multiply your goal by 1.5.
Under that, the goal is merely a goal.
In the final calculations, the top five in the rankings were: Mbappe (62 points), Gyokeres (58.5), Salah (58), Robert Lewandowski (54), and Harry Kane (52).
Mbappe, the top scorer at the 2022 World Cup, has scored 43 goals in all competitions this season.
