Crimbuk, the UK’s only business growth festival, will return to Leeds on July 2-3, 2025, with a festival connecting scaling companies with international investors, innovators and collaborators, bringing back to Leeds again to innovate in the north.
Currently in its third year and titled Climb25, the event is expected to attract more than 4,000 participants from various sectors.
Investors participating in 2025 include Sure Valley Ventures, a Deep Tech entrepreneur-led venture capitalist, EKA ventures focused on Consumer Tech, Channel 4 ventures, and Puma Growth Partners, with more announcements in the coming weeks.
Over 400 accredited investors are expected to join alongside delegations from the US, Baltics, Asia and the Middle East. Last year’s event welcomed representatives from over 150 international companies.
Among the headline speakers this year is former Microsoft CTO Jennifer Byrne, who is taking part in a diverse lineup of global leaders in technology, sustainability and innovation.
Gordon Bateman, founder of Climbuk and Investorladder, said: “People come here not only to listen, but to participate. Students can be found alongside global CEOs, scientists.
Bateman added: “Leeds is the perfect home and a city that represents everything exciting about the future of the North.”
Since 2023, over 1,500 UK companies have joined Climbuk, with many people securing funds, expanding internationally and signing major contracts.
The event is supported by West Yorkshire Combination Authorities and has additional support from local leaders such as Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
US government officials, including representatives from California and Georgia, will also be present to explore the UK investment partnership.
