With Mental Health Awareness Week 2025 (May 12-18) highlighting the importance of the community, Mermaid London has raised £5,000 for its major mental health charity Sane.
He has decided to empower SANE in his efforts to improve the quality of life for people affected by mental illness.
As a result of the Mermaid London contribution, Sane will be able to fund the recruitment and training of two additional volunteers to tackle Saneline, Sane’s specialized mental health helpline. Between them, this means an extra 360 hours of support for those who need it most each year.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Kathryn Winfield, general manager of Mermaid London. “We hope we have been able to focus our attention on so many impacts because we have a proud history of defending causes that have a huge impact on our community, but it is often easily dismissed.”
A sane campaign to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions, provide fight, support, information and guidance to improve frontline mental health services, and host research into causes, treatment and treatment.
Mermaid London offers all employees the benefits of healthcare and provides access to support, advice and guidance in areas including mental health through an internal app. The main venues strive to reduce the financial burden on employees by holding monthly events, encouraging bonds, allowing team members to connect, and providing monthly lunch fees.
