The three-time Oscar-nominated actress wore a custom Rodarte look from the American fashion label’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured floral motifs that were part of the curation of co-creative directors and founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy.

The midi dress is designed with a variation of tonal aubergine, with a rose print motif running throughout the fabric of the dress. The plunging neckline was contoured with black fabric, and the statement short sleeves added dimension to the overall look.

The silhouette of Pfeiffer’s dress was mostly fitted at the waist and featured a belt that added a defined shape to the dress. The flowing skirt added movement to the actress’ outfit. As for footwear, Pfeiffer chose pointed-toe black pumps by Larude to complement the black fabric elements of her dress.

When it came to glamour, the actress’ blonde hair was styled with a middle part and soft curls that cascaded off her shoulders. Her makeup included bold eyebrows, lined eyes, and a neutral lip for a soft look. Pfeiffer often collaborates with stylist Samantha McMillen, whose clients include Pfeiffer’s Margo’s Got Money Trouble co-star Elle Fanning.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by the Mulleavys, Rodarte has been worn by several A-list stars, from Elle Fanning to Amanda Seyfried to Millie Bobby Brown. Despite over 20 years in the business, Kate and Laura Mulleavy are still carving out their own corner of the fashion world.

“If you want to see designers like us working at major houses, you have to advocate for it. If you have a certain level of media exposure and talent, people will think you have a chance,” Kate Mulleavy told WWD in March 2024.

“I’ve dressed the best actresses, created amazing costumes, exhibited in museums around the world, had solo exhibitions, collaborated with artists, and done all this from an independent company. People know our clothes, they know what Rodarte is.”

Created by Taylor Sheridan, “Madison” follows a New York City family who retreats to their rural Montana ranch after suffering a devastating loss. The first season is available to stream on Paramount+.
