The most expensive state Supreme Court race in US history as billionaires push to prevent challenges to Trump’s agenda.

Elon Musk handed two Wisconsin voters a million-dollar check to promote conservative candidates in the state’s upcoming Supreme Court elections.

The tech billionaire, an intimate ally of President Donald Trump, handed out oversized checks at a meeting in Green Bay on Sunday night, increasing spending in the most expensive judicial race in US history.

Musk made a similar move in the November presidential election. A contested swing state, Wisconsin’s Democratic rival has failed in his efforts to block handouts by claiming it constitutes election interference.

The April 1 election will pit conservative candidate Brad Schemmel against Democrat Susan Crawford. The Liberal Party currently has a majority of four to three in the courts.

The billionaires are heavily involved in judicial elections, which is considered an early referendum on Trump’s controversial first weeks at the White House. He also argues that liberals will use Wisconsin courts to change voting districts and therefore will affect future election outcomes in swing states if they win.

In a speech on Sunday evening, Musk told the crowd that the vote was “super big deal.”

“What’s happening on Tuesday is the party’s vote to control the US House of Representatives,” he declared.

“Which party controls the party… to a considerable extent controls the country, which leads the course of Western civilization,” he said, adding that he believes the vote “will have an impact on the entire fate of humanity.”

Previously, efforts to block handouts were rejected by the Supreme Court.

Democrat Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Cowl argued that Tesla’s actions were filed against state law.

“Wisconsin law prohibits anyone from providing something valuable to steer the vote,” Kaur said.

The Supreme Court refused to file this case without providing a rationale for its decision.

Trump’s agenda

Voting could affect the mid-2026 and 2028 presidential elections as the court is expected to control abortion rights, union rights, voting rules and constituency changes.

In the short term, the way courts shake up to prevent judicial agencies from thwarting his agenda is a way that is part of Trump’s broader agenda. Many legal challenges are ongoing to halt the president’s controversial actions on immigration, national institutions and foreign policy.

Musk argued that if Crawford is elected, the liberal court “opens up a way to redraw the district, they gerrymandate the district and take Wisconsin from the two seats on the Republican side.”

“Then they’ll try to stop all the government reforms we’re doing for you, Americans,” he added.

Musk also announced that it will pay supporters $20 for all voters it will employ over the next two days.
